What motivates you?
Is it the fact that you want to buy that fancy expensive car? Is it the fact that one day you, want to own that beautiful house in the suburbs? What drives you? What makes you wake up each day to go to school? What makes you want to wake up each morning and make a success of your life? We all have dreams, we all have dreams we wish could come true in life, the difficult part is where do we start in making them come true.
This is where motivation comes in, motivation is that one simple thing that motivates and inspires you to make that dream come true. The true recipe of making it in life is by never losing focus, keeping that one thing that motivates you in life close to the heart, so that even in difficult times, hard times, rainy days, you will be able to wake up and pursue your destiny because of that one thing that motivates you. It doesn’t have to be one thing that motives you in life, in fact, it doesn’t even have to be material things. But the only important thing is that it must be yours, you must do you, for you, so that even if you fail, you will be able to gather strength from that thing that motivates you, and soldier on, to make that dream become reality. Take this moment, and think deep, what motivates you?
Education is a foundation that lays the groundwork, teaches every possible item of information to cultivate deep-seated and effective habits of discriminating tested beliefs from mere assertions, and guesses and opinions, but in order to reap the rewards of what we call education, we must actively elect the acquisition of those mental habits. For an education is something we claim rather than something we get.
No one can build you the bridge on which you, and only you, must cross the river of life. Getting a university degree doesn’t mean you will be automatically set for life. Its how you use that university degree that will set you up for life. Other people after getting a degree a lucky enough to get a good stable paying job, others must still do the hunting to get that job. This is where motivation comes in, what made you in the first place to try to pursue to get educated? That one thing, will keep you going until you find your destiny. Education is amazing, it opens doors most people never knew existed. Not all graduates become employees, others become employers, entrepreneurs, education is just a foundation in which you can use to build your future. Don’t judge the value of higher education in terms of careermanship. Judge if for what it is – a priceless opportunity to furnish and enrich the quality of your life. Build a four roomed foundation, you will only be able to build a four roomed house on that foundation, if you would like a bigger, more beautifully architecture’d house, them=n you will have to start by building that education foundation first, before having to build the house. With education, you do not have to limit yourself, whatever you want to do, want to be, go out there, do the research and climb that horse, get riding. Not even the sky is the limit when it comes to education.
