KasiLevesa.com Magazine managed to sit down with one of the organizers of the Lejweleputswa Gospel Awards and this is what he had to say about their upcoming event:

Tell us about yourself?

Rethabile Mokhako was born on the 17th of December 1995.   He is the core-founder of a youth movement known as Mega-Youth Movement [M.Y.M], which he established in 2014.His purpose is centered on the call for the restoration of the church to ancient biblical patterns of building and for the emergence of the corporate son of God in the earth. He accomplishes this through leadership and developmental interventions hosted over the course of the year that address current and pressing global issues. Two of these forums, which are strategic and invaluable are the Youth Empowerment Summit [Y.E.S] and Young Leaders Conference [Y.L.C]. Additionally, Rethabile Mokhako is the author of “Elijah Nation: Raising of the sons of God” {to be published}.

What is this event about?

The event is an award ceremony that aims to encourage our local gospel artists and to help young upcoming artists to discover their place in the body of Christ and also in the music industry.

What inspired you to have these awards?

We were thinking that awards can only be the easiest way to bring all the known artists and the upcoming artists in a one place.

What do you wish to get out of this event?

That all artists come to the place of oneness, and that young uprising artists will discover their place in the music industry and in the Body of Christ.

How has the organizing process been?

It`s been good so far. We have managed to get over 10 000 people to access our website and voting pages.

Is the municipality and community at large showing support?

The Christian community has been supporting so far, including the local radio station [The Rock FM 90.9]. However, the municipality has not extended any form of support to us.

Not all towns are involved in the event, is there a message you would like to send to the ones that are left out?

It`s not about who is inside or who is not, it`s all about coming to the fullness of oneness as the sons of God.

John 17

When and where will the event take place?

The award ceremony will take place on the 16th of December 2016 at Thabong Community Center (TCC).

Any requests you would like to make?

For people to come and celebrate with us, as the sons of God are emerging.
