Rightious Queen Gloria Mpatane, AKA Queen, born 26 October 1989. Went to Aurora Primary School in Welkom, primary was a long time ago,all I can remember is that it was fun and educational. Did my high school at Sandveld High School, from 2003 to 2007. With my matric results been one of the top 3, I received a bursary from the Seobi Mohapi Trust Fund. Went to University of Johannesburg, from 2008 to 2011 to study Bcom IT Technology. Became part of the house committee of Horizon Ladies Residence from 2009 to 2010. From 2010 to 2011 was part of the SRC at Auckland Park Kingsway Campus. Caught in between doing what she loves, which is politics and what she was there to do, which is to study, didn't matter whether she loved the course or not, she ended dropping out by the end of 2011, her academics suffered a lot because they came second to politics. Came back home to Wesselsbron, after a few weeks, went to Welkom to do work as a waitress at Ocean Basket Restaurant. Come 2012, Queen left the restaurant industry, enrolled at Damelin College to study Microsoft Certified IT Professional, which she successfully completed during July 2013. During late 2012, she got another job at Foto First Goldfields Mall. In June 2013, she landed another job at Capitec Bank, which is where she is still working at currently. Queen believes it has been quiet a bumpy ride but through God everything is achievable, all you got to do is never to give up on yourself, in the end, it doesn't matter how many times you fell, all that matters is you made it. Through the support of her father, she has a stable career. Currently, Queen is studying Business Management with Oxbridge Academy. She is determined to never stop studying further, because afterall; "Education is the key to Success" - Tata Mandela. Queen is looking forward to being part of Politics (her first love) as well as Education portfolios. Queen will also handle all information pertaining to interviews.
